Sunset over the ocean with waves and a colorful sky with clouds.
For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone who doesn’t understand growth, it would look like complete destruction.

Welcome to my cozy corner of the internet, where authenticity meets connection. This is actually my second attempt at doing whatever this is. My previous microblogging stint saw healthy recipes, views on heartbreak, and existentialism. At the time, pretty on brand for a fresh college graduate who moved back in with the parents.

Ten years later and I’m reflecting on how everything has changed. I am still a health conscious, pensive, hopeless romantic. But I’ve finally discovered what it is I’m good at and most of it is not even remotely close to what I thought it’d be. Tenderly holding the hand of someone grieving, guiding students as they move through their yoga practice, supporting individuals as they navigate incredibly difficult conversations. I went to school to become a speech-language pathologist— again, not even remotely close.

This *gestures loosely at the air* is my true and honest attempt at sharing the gifts that I’ve cultivated in a meaningful way. So come on in, the vibe is warm.
